About
Families spend considerable time and resources preparing wealth for the future. Far fewer prepare the family for the decisions, responsibilities and transitions that wealth brings.
Catalyst works alongside families, family offices and their advisers to prepare the family for the future of its wealth. We assess the dynamics that shape how families make decisions, navigate change and work together, then help build the alignment that enables governance, succession and continuity to work in practice.
Our perspective
Catalyst is grounded in more than two decades of global cultural and behavioural research. This work explored how people think and make decisions by examining the role of values, identity, relationships and culture in shaping behaviour across organisations and communities around the world.
That same perspective now underpins Catalyst's work with families. While wealth is preserved through technical structures, its continuity often depends on something less tangible: how families make decisions, navigate change and work together over time. These are the conditions that enable governance, succession and long-term stewardship succeed in practice.
